Mission of The Ivan Foundation

Established in honor of the late icon Ivan the Gorilla®, The I.V.A.N. Foundation offers scholarships to the youth of the Pacific Northwest that aspire to seek a career dedicated to the benefit of endangered species, and specifically, gorillas.

Our commitment is to Inspire those who share a Vision dedicated to the betterment of endangered gorillas by raising Awareness of their plight & embracing the Noble cause of enhancing the lives of our closest relatives that live with us in our community & our world
